Each year the Central District Committee awards (two) one-thousand ($1,000.00)
dollar scholarships to college bound high school seniors.

Criteria for Consideration
1. Must be a dedicated soccer player and have played soccer with a CJSA affiliated club in the
Central District.
2. Must have a C+ average or better and graduate high school in 2011.
3. Must plan on attending a school of higher education.
4. Must submit a 250-word essay on "What Soccer Means to Me". The essay must include at the top
of page 1: your name, address, phone number, club affiliation.
5. Application and essay must be received no later than April 1, 2011. Please send to: Thomas
Skarbek, 2 Kelley Avenue, Wethersfield, CT 06109. Incomplete applications will not be
considered.
6. Must be available for a personal interview with the Scholarship Selection Committee.
